Terms of Service

Version: November 6, 2026
Welcome to Texturr. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Texturr website, apps, and services, together called the Platform. Texturr is operated by Penn Point Connect LLC, the company behind Texturr. By accepting these Terms when creating an account or booking, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated EULA. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is available at Privacy Policy.
Age. You must be at least 13 to use Texturr. If you are 13–17, you may only book with a parent or guardian’s permission and use a payment method with its owner’s authorization. A parent or guardian must approve any agreement or payment a minor cannot legally authorize. Children under 13 cannot create an account or book. Pros must be adults legally able to enter their service and payment agreements.
The marketplace. Texturr connects clients with independent hair professionals, including barbers, stylists, braiders, and mobile or house-call providers, called Pros. Pros are independent service providers, not Texturr employees or agents. Pros set their own prices, availability, service areas, and policies within Platform rules. Pros are responsible for their services, professional qualifications, licenses, insurance, taxes, and compliance with applicable law. Texturr does not perform hair services or guarantee a particular result.
Accounts. Provide accurate information, protect your login, and report suspected unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or share an account to evade Platform restrictions. Pros must complete the identity, business, and payout setup required by Stripe and Texturr to receive funds. You are responsible for account activity you authorize, without giving up any legal rights concerning unauthorized activity.
Discover and storefronts. Discover helps clients find Pros using information such as services, location, availability, profile content, and preferences. Listings and recommendations are not a guarantee of quality, licensure, availability, or suitability. Check the Pro’s current storefront and booking details before paying. Any paid promotion must be identified as such. Pros must keep their listings truthful and current.
Bookings and payments. Before confirming, review the service, duration, appointment time, Pro’s timezone, deposit, remaining balance, fees, service location, and cancellation policy. A booking request is accepted only when the applicable booking flow confirms acceptance. Deposits count toward the service price. Stripe processes payments and payouts; Texturr does not store full card or bank account numbers. Only amounts disclosed and authorized through the applicable booking or payment flow may be charged.
Client booking fee. The standard booking fee is $2 plus $1 for each full $100 of the final service price, up to a maximum of $15. It is calculated from the service price, not the deposit. Your actual booking fee and total appear before payment and are recorded with your booking. Fee changes apply prospectively and must be disclosed before you accept them.
Pro fees. The standard platform fee is $1 per booking for stylists and $0 for barbers. Pros bear applicable Stripe card-processing fees, including processing fees Stripe does not return after a refund. Actual processor charges depend on the payment method and the applicable Stripe terms. Any applicable final-payment fee or other Platform fee must be disclosed in the relevant payment breakdown. Pros receive the amounts due to them after applicable disclosed fees, authorized refunds, and lawful adjustments. These Terms do not create an additional commission or change a confirmed booking’s stored fee calculation.
Travel and same-day fees. A Pro may offer mobile or house-call services and charge a disclosed travel or house-call fee. A disclosed same-day service fee may also apply. These are additional client charges, not replacements for the service price or booking fee. Their amounts and collection timing are shown in the booking breakdown. Clients must provide an accurate service address and a safe place for the appointment. Pros must honor their published travel arrangements and service areas.
Rescheduling. Rescheduling depends on the Pro’s availability and the policy disclosed for the booking. Where the applicable late-reschedule rule applies, the disclosed charge includes an additional $1 payable to Texturr. No reschedule fee is imposed unless the applicable rule and charge were disclosed and accepted. A change is not final until confirmed through the Platform.
Advance-booking cancellations and client no-shows. Pros publish their policies on their storefronts. A client cancellation or no-show may result in the Pro keeping the deposit under the policy disclosed before booking, subject to applicable law. Advance bookings continue to follow that policy and the booking’s agreed terms. Texturr may help resolve a dispute but does not replace the service agreement between client and Pro.
Same-day client cancellations. A booking is same-day when it is created on the appointment’s calendar date in the Pro’s timezone. If the client cancels that booking, the deposit is non-refundable by default and is kept by the Pro under Texturr policy, except where law requires otherwise. The Pro may choose to refund the client anyway through the Platform’s refund prompt; they are not required to. For that voluntary refund, the client receives the deposit back, Texturr’s booking fee stays non-refundable, and the Pro covers the Stripe processing fee that Stripe does not return. Instant cash-out of that deposit may stay paused until the Pro keeps the deposit, the refund settles, or the refund window closes. Advance bookings keep their existing cancellation rules.
Pro cancellations and Pro no-shows. If the Pro cancels a same-day booking—or cancels or does not attend any booking—the client gets their deposit back automatically, the same as any normal Pro cancellation. There is no Pro choice prompt. The client is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that booking, including the booking fee and any travel or same-day charges already collected. The client-cancellation non-refundable-deposit rule does not apply. Applicable processing costs remain allocated under the Pro’s payment agreement; they must not reduce the client’s full refund.
Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. Refunds are subject to processor confirmation and bank posting times. Texturr cannot promise an immediate bank credit. Contact Help about an incorrect payment, service dispute, or missing refund. Clients retain their legal rights to dispute unauthorized or otherwise disputable payments. Pros must cooperate with reasonable evidence requests. Refund, reversal, chargeback, and dispute amounts or processor fees may be recovered from a Pro only to the extent the Pro is responsible under the applicable agreements and law. The same debt must not be collected twice.
Stripe Connect and fee recovery. Pros agree to the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement at Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement at Stripe Services Agreement. Pros also agree to Texturr’s Debit Authorization when it is presented and affirmatively accepted during payout setup, available at Debit Authorization.
Recovery uses two levels where legally authorized and technically supported. Tier 1 uses the Pro’s available connected Stripe balance for amounts owed; Stripe’s debit_negative_balances setting may also support recovery of an eligible negative balance from the linked bank under Stripe’s terms. Tier 2 uses a separately authorized ACH debit or charge to a designated card on file if connected funds do not cover the amount. The Stripe setting alone does not authorize a separate ACH debit or card charge. Each payment mechanism requires its applicable consent and processor support.
For a Pro-initiated same-day refund, these mechanisms may recover the deposit returned to the client and applicable unrecovered processing costs allocated to the Pro. A shortage does not guarantee that a refund, reversal, or bank debit succeeds. Texturr may record an administrator flag showing the booking, outstanding amount, reason, and collection status so unresolved amounts can be reviewed. Internal records may use “Texturr Refund”; actual bank statement wording depends on Stripe and the bank.
Payouts and Instant cash-out. Payout availability depends on Stripe eligibility, available funds, pending payments, refund obligations, reserves, and other applicable restrictions. Eligible Pros may choose Instant cash-out and accept the fee displayed before confirming it. Funds reserved or owed for refunds or authorized fees may not be available to cash out. “Instant” describes the payout method, not a guaranteed arrival time. Texturr will not collect the same Instant Payout fee again if it has already been collected through Stripe.
Saved payment methods. Saving a card does not give Texturr unlimited permission to charge it. A client may authorize an off-session charge for an agreed remaining balance or another specifically disclosed booking charge. A Pro may separately authorize a designated card for fee recovery. The relevant flow must disclose the purpose and amount or calculation. Additional authentication may be required. Revoking future payment authority does not erase a lawful existing debt.
Content, reviews, and photos. You keep ownership of content you upload. You give Texturr a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, reproduce, and display that content to operate the Platform and present your public storefront, including public listing previews and sharing features. You must have the rights and permission needed for photos, client images, music, text, and other material you upload. This license does not authorize unrelated use of a person’s likeness without permission. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences; do not post fake reviews or conceal paid incentives. Public content may be visible to search engines and people outside Texturr. Removing content does not necessarily remove copies others lawfully retained or search-engine caches.
Conduct and safety. Do not post illegal, abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent, or infringing content, harass others, spam, misuse payment features, or solicit off-platform payments in violation of Platform rules. Use reporting and blocking tools when needed. Texturr may review reported or automatically flagged conversations, log safety-related access, remove content, or restrict accounts for violations, fraud, legal obligations, or safety. Contact Help to challenge an action. Texturr does not promise that every report will result in removal or that monitoring detects all harm.
Copyright complaints. Contact Help to report infringement and identify the work, the material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove material and restrict repeat infringers. Where applicable law provides a counter-notice process, we will explain how to use it. This process does not limit statutory rights.
Communications. Texturr may send service-related email, in-app messages, and permission-based push notifications about accounts, bookings, payments, safety, and support. Optional marketing email includes an unsubscribe method. Notification permission can be changed in device or browser settings. Providing a phone number does not by itself authorize automated marketing texts or calls. If Texturr offers SMS, messages are subject to the consent requested for that program; marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Applicable message and data rates may apply. Follow the message’s opt-out instructions or contact Help to revoke consent. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary non-marketing account communications through lawful channels.
Electronic agreements. You may accept these Terms and the EULA through an affirmative electronic action, such as selecting an acceptance checkbox or button that clearly identifies them. No handwritten signature or separate EULA signature is required for that acceptance. Where payment law requires a separate mandate or electronic-record consent, that consent must also be obtained. You may keep a copy of these documents and request assistance through Help. Continued use alone does not replace a legally required new payment authorization.
Account deletion. Request deletion through Settings → Account or Delete Account. Older versions may place the control under Privacy + Payments. Texturr processes deletion requests after verifying identity; the request is not an immediate wipe. We remove or de-identify personal information that is no longer needed and may retain completed transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, tax, and other legally necessary records as explained in the Privacy Policy. Outstanding bookings and payment obligations may need to be resolved. Deleting the app does not delete your account, cancel bookings, or revoke a payment mandate.
Availability and warranties. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free software, a particular booking outcome, or a Pro’s work. Mandatory consumer protections and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in force.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Texturr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or services between users. Texturr’s total liability for a claim relating to the Platform is limited to Platform fees you paid to Texturr during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not reduce a refund you are otherwise entitled to receive and does not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability or remedy that cannot legally be limited. If applicable law does not permit a limit, that law controls.
Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover reasonable losses, damages, and legal costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful conduct, infringement, or material breach of these Terms. For Pros, this includes claims arising from services they provide. This does not require you to cover Texturr’s own legally attributable wrongdoing. We will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to participate in the defense; a settlement requiring your admission or non-monetary obligation requires your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld.
Disputes and arbitration. First contact Help so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. If it remains unresolved after 30 days, you and Texturr agree, to the extent permitted by law, to resolve disputes about the Platform or these Terms by individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer or Commercial Arbitration Rules. Consumer protections and fee rules apply to consumer claims. Remote participation or a reasonably convenient location will be available as required by those rules and applicable law. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration agreement.
Either party may use an eligible small-claims court or seek court relief to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. A claim for public injunctive relief that cannot lawfully be waived or arbitrated may proceed in court. You may opt out of arbitration and the class-action waiver by contacting Help within 30 days after first accepting this version and clearly stating your choice and account identification. Keep a copy of your request. Opting out does not affect your use of Texturr.
Unless you opt out or law prohibits it, you and Texturr agree to bring claims only individually, not as a class, collective, or representative action, and waive a jury trial for claims subject to arbitration. A court decides enforceability of this arbitration agreement and class waiver. If a restriction is unenforceable, the affected claim proceeds as law requires; the remaining lawful terms remain effective. This section does not bind a minor or waive a right where the law does not allow it.
Georgia law. Georgia law governs these Terms, subject to the Federal Arbitration Act and mandatory laws protecting you where you live. Disputes permitted to proceed in court may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Georgia, without removing any non-waivable right to another venue.
Changes and contact. We may update these Terms and identify changes with a new version date. We will give appropriate notice of material changes and obtain new consent where required. Changes do not retroactively alter an existing booking’s accepted prices or cancellation policy. Questions, complaints, payment-authorization requests, or legal notices may be submitted through in-app Help or the support options at texturr.app.
